Christian Esser leads WINESCHOOL3 and its programs the Caribbean. Christian has worked in the wine industry for 10 years as an educator, sommelier and consultant. Christian is an Associate with the Institute of Wine and Spirits from London's Wine and Spirits Educational Trust. Christian has a background in Hospitality, Viticulture and marketing and as such has worked with multiple restaurants and wineries to improve sales and level of quality.

Christian has a particular focus of knowledge on Northern Hemisphere wine countries and on Pinot Noir. Christian also teaches spirits courses and has a special interest in the Scotch Whiskeys.


Shalico Christian has over 20 years experience in hospitality services in the Cayman Islands and in Canada. He has hosted several classes on teaching hospitality courses to new people in the industry or recurrent training to older employees, which need a little motivation. Combined with his knowledge of wine and wine service, Shalico adds to the school his years of experience. A winner of the Rising Star award in 2008 of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association award,

Shalico has promoted the art of hospitality in every environment.
